Liz Potter, Editor is an enthusiastic amateur gardener currently studying for RHS Level 2 horticulture exams. Experienced journalist with 27 years in consumer magazines and former editor of Period Living. Gardens on heavy clay soil in Cambridgeshire, warding rabbits and slugs off her plants. Gill Lockhart, Art Editor is a passionate amateur gardener and allomenteer with small courtyard garden in Northamptonshire. ‘She Shed’ owner, design guru and fan of architectural plants. Adrian Thomas, Wildlife expert is Senior Project Manager for the RSPB, author of Gardening for Wildlife (£19.99, RSPB) and trustee of the Wildlife Gardening Forum. Currently restoring an acre of abandoned garden with ponds, woodland, veg patch and wildflower meadow areas.
Ian Hodgson is a Kew-qualified horticulturalist and landscape designer. He has written for and edited a number of gardening magazines over a 30 year career and was Editor of the RHS journal The Garden for 18 years. Ian loves creating new planting and developing design ideas in his narrow garden in Cambridgeshire.
Helen Billiald is a freelance garden writer with a PhD in Ecology and an MSc in Pest Management. She’s currently attempting to tame her walled kitchen garden in Somerset.
Marina Jordan-Rugg, Sub-Editor has been a gardening editor for 20 years. Formerly Deputy Editor and Special Projects Editor for the RHS The Garden magazine, Marina is also Associate Editor for Garden News. She is currently renovating a 300-foot garden and orchard in Bedfordshire that had been untended for 25 years.
Geoff Stebbings is a former editor of Garden Answers magazine and a Kew-trained horticulturalist. He's a professional gardener, author, writer, broadcaster and speaker based in Ireland for three years. Keen gardener who wants to grow everything and anything at least once!
Geoff Hodge is a freelance gardening writer, former web editor for the RHS, gardening editor of Garden News and technical writer of Garden Answers. Author of eight gardening books and broadcasts on gardening for BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and BBC Radio Essex.
